Yapkin team

We make Yapkin.

Yapkin is a language learning app from Savuko. We build guided lessons and conversation practice, and publish guides to help you use what you learn.

A place to practice speaking

Knowing a word and finding it during a conversation can feel very different. Yapkin gives you a place to hear useful language, try a reply, and ask for help when you need it.

The app brings together Journey lessons, focused work on individual skills, and review. You can explore the available languages or start with a free written guide.

How we write the guides

Each guide starts with a practical question, such as how to respond when a word disappears or how to prepare for a hotel check-in. We explain a usable approach, show examples, and give you an exercise you can adapt.

We consult language education resources, dictionaries, and relevant research. Sources appear at the end of each article. We distinguish a research finding from a suggested routine, and check examples for their meaning and situation.

Savuko publishes the guides under the Yapkin team name. You can contact us with a question about an example or a suggestion for a future article.

Examples with room for real life

Our sample conversations illustrate a possible exchange. People may use different wording, and preferences can vary between regions. We explain important differences where they affect the advice.

Suggested practice times are flexible starting points. They are not promises about how quickly you will become fluent. AI feedback can also need checking, especially when a transcription or explanation does not match what you meant.

Corrections and updates

We keep the original publication date and show when an article was updated. If an example is unclear, a source has moved, or an explanation needs correcting, email contact@savuko.com with the page and the passage you mean.
