1. The service
Yapkin offers language-learning lessons, AI conversations, focused skill practice, and progress and review features. The website provides product information and free written learning guides. Features, course availability, and access limits are described in the app and can change as the service develops.
Yapkin is a learning aid. It does not provide certified instruction, an official proficiency assessment, or a guarantee of fluency within a particular time.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of majority, obtain parental or guardian permission where required.
You may sign in with Apple or Google. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in account, and tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for your use of the service, but these terms do not make you responsible for losses caused by our failure to meet our legal obligations.
3. Subscriptions and free trial
The annual plan costs $57.99 USD per year and includes a 3-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Unless canceled, the trial converts to the annual subscription and Apple charges $57.99 at the end of the trial. The annual plan then renews each year until canceled.
The monthly plan costs $19.99 USD per month, has no free trial, and is charged at purchase. It renews each month until canceled. The monthly equivalent displayed for the annual plan is an illustration; the annual plan is billed as one yearly payment.
Apple confirms your local price, taxes where applicable, trial eligibility, subscription period, and renewal terms before you authorize a purchase. The offer shown on the Apple purchase screen applies to that purchase. Trial eligibility is determined through Apple and is not guaranteed for every account.
You authorize Apple to process the purchase and recurring renewal charges under its billing terms. Price changes and any required consent or notice are handled according to Apple’s rules and applicable law. AI features may have usage limits shown in the app; a subscription does not promise unlimited inference or uninterrupted third-party availability.
4. Cancellation, refunds, and access
To manage or cancel, open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Yapkin. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of a free trial to avoid being charged. For renewal timing, follow the details Apple shows for your subscription.
Paid access normally continues until the end of the paid period after cancellation. Free-trial access may end when you cancel. Deleting the app, deleting your Yapkin account, or disconnecting Apple or Google sign-in does not cancel your Apple subscription.
Apple handles App Store refund requests. A refund is subject to Apple’s process and applicable law; we cannot promise that Apple will approve it. Nothing here limits mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or digital-content rights.

5. AI features and limitations
AI conversations, transcriptions, translations, and feedback are produced with third-party services, including OpenAI, Groq, and Google as described in the privacy policy. You are interacting with software, not a human tutor.
AI may misunderstand you or produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable content. Check unfamiliar corrections or important translations with a reliable source. Do not rely on Yapkin for medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other high-stakes advice.
Use fictional details when appropriate for a practice scenario. Submit only content you have the right to use. Speech recognition and conversation features depend on connectivity, device permissions, and provider availability.
6. Using Yapkin responsibly
Use the service for lawful personal learning. Do not interfere with another person’s access or attempt to compromise the service.
- Do not access another account or private data without permission.
- Do not distribute unlawful, abusive, or rights-infringing content through the service.
- Do not bypass payment, usage limits, or security controls, or overload the service with automated requests.
- Do not copy or extract protected course material or software at scale. This does not restrict rights that applicable law expressly gives you.
7. Your content and our materials
You retain rights you have in the content you submit. You give us permission to process, transmit, and store that content as needed to operate requested features and support your account, as described in the privacy policy. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
Yapkin’s branding, artwork, software, and authored materials belong to Savuko or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive right to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple’s usage rules.
8. Apple and other services
Apple and Google sign-in, AI providers, and other external services are subject to their applicable terms. We remain responsible for obligations the law places on us; using providers does not waive your rights against us.
These service terms are between you and Savuko, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Yapkin. For the app license, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a separate custom EULA is presented in the App Store. The applicable EULA includes Apple-specific provisions and third-party beneficiary rights.
9. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update the service, address security issues, or restrict an account for a material violation of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and give you a way to contact us. Immediate action may be necessary to prevent harm or unlawful use.
We will provide notice of material changes or discontinuation where required and respect applicable rights for paid digital services. You may stop using Yapkin and request account deletion at any time; manage an Apple subscription separately to prevent future charges.
10. Responsibility and consumer rights
We work to provide a useful and reliable service but cannot promise that all content will be correct or that the service will always be available. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential loss that could not reasonably have been anticipated.
These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other protected claims. They do not reduce statutory guarantees, remedies, or mandatory consumer protections.
11. Governing law and updates
Polish law governs these terms, without depriving you of mandatory protections in your country of residence. Nothing here requires a consumer to bring a claim in a court where applicable law gives them a right to use their local courts.
We may revise these terms as Yapkin evolves. We will date the updated version and provide notice or seek agreement when required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
